Job Description:

The Officer Business Development is responsible for identifying and maximizing opportunities to generate business and ensure customer needs are met effectively under the guidance of line managers.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Booking of ENR Through Different Installment Plan Products Generating Markup Income (40%):

   • Identify and book Easy Monthly Installment (ENR) plans to generate markup income.
   • Promote installment plans to potential customers to maximize sales.

2. Enroll Customers for Value Added Services (40%):

   • Offer and enroll customers in various value-added services to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

3. Generate Leads for Credit Card and Other Consumer Banking Products (10%):

   • Actively generate leads for credit cards and other consumer banking products to expand the customer base.

4. Ensure Customer Complaints and/or Queries are Addressed Promptly (5%):

   • Address customer complaints and queries promptly and efficiently.
   • Refer complex issues to the line manager for resolution.

5. Monitor Daily/Weekly/Monthly ENR Sales to Track Performance (10%):

   • Monitor and track the performance of ENR sales on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
   • Share progress with the line manager through daily call reports.

6. Conduct Market Research & Target Specific Areas (5%):

   • Conduct market research to identify potential areas for offering relevant products.
   • Target specific areas under the guidance of the line manager to maximize sales opportunities.

7. Maintain Service Standards at Agreed Levels (10%):

   • Ensure service standards are maintained at agreed levels with no major variances.
   • Adhere to relevant policies and procedures in their true spirit.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Awareness of banking, market, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
