Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Direction: Oversee the strategic direction of the Asset-Based Factoring operational side of the business.

• Risk Management: Manage and monitor risks within the Factoring department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Leadership & Development: Guide and develop managers and staff to optimize performance and efficiency.

• Operational Oversight: Ensure a clear understanding of all operational tasks associated with Factoring.

• Collaboration: Work with Relationship Managers, Special Assets Group, and legal counsel on workouts.

• Transaction Approvals: Review activity reports, approve funding and collections transactions, and resolve exceptions.

• Policy & Procedure Improvements: Recommend changes to policies and procedures for better risk management and efficiency.

• Personnel Management: Oversee hiring, termination, counseling, and performance evaluations.

• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support department goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Finance or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in factoring operations or other directly related experience.

• Supervisory or management experience required.

• Expertise in factoring operations, processes, and credit management.

• Strong problem-solving, analysis, and reconciliation skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven leadership, organizational, and adaptability skills.

• Ability to train and coach employees effectively.

• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Factoring software applications.
