Position: Relationship Banker
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), occasional Saturdays as needed
Work Setting: In-person (Banking Center environment)
Marketing Activities:
Proactively market to attract, retain, and expand customer relationships through personalized outreach and planning.
Complete assigned daily planning activities focused on client engagement and retention.
Onboard and engage new customers by introducing products and services, answering questions, and ensuring follow-up.
Act as a digital ambassador by helping customers transition to Comerica digital platforms.
Lead financial wellness conversations that add real value to customer relationships.
Support customer portfolio growth by maintaining and expanding existing relationships.
Participate in community outreach and awareness events to build visibility and establish new business relationships.
Use CRM tools like Converge effectively for customer relationship tracking.
Operational Risk:
Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Comerica policies and procedures.
Complete all required compliance-related training.
Mitigate operational risks and reduce losses by strictly following procedures and risk guidelines.
Adhere to all standards outlined in the Banking Center Risk Assessment and Compliance protocols.
Customer Experience Management:
Maintain banker readiness with a deep understanding of consumer and small business products and services.
Serve as acting leader of the banking center in the manager absence.
Address customer needs both routine and complex, providing expert support and resolution.
Deepen existing relationships by offering tailored solutions.
Deliver outstanding service across channels—account opening, problem-solving, safe deposit access, and teller services.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure customer trust in every interaction.
Complete Comerica Platform Training Program to enhance product and service delivery.
Partnership:
Contribute actively to banking center collaboration and team success.
Identify and refer customers to internal partners to fulfill broader financial needs.
Associate degree or 60 college credit hours, OR High School Diploma/GED AND 3 years of customer service experience
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Minimum 1 year of consumer sales experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
