Position: Senior Home Lending Advisor
Location: San Diego, CA

Job Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on home lending products and services to elevate team expertise and customer engagement.

• Collaborate with bankers to meet with their customers, identifying additional financial needs, and introducing appropriate banking products and services to support those goals.

• Create exceptional customer experiences by leveraging a wide array of marketing tools and channels — including centrally managed direct mail, digital media, relocation programs, statement inserts, Chase.com, e-newsletters, and proactive outbound lead sourcing.

• Develop strong partnerships with retail branches, actively promoting mortgage loan originations across footprint territories. This role will require comfort in both direct and dotted-line reporting structures.

• Build a trusted presence as an internal and external mortgage expert, consistently maintaining professional relationships with customers and business partners.

• Provide consultative recommendations to clients based on thorough financial analysis, product knowledge, and a strong understanding of customers financial goals and life circumstances.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in sales and/or real estate.

• Minimum 3 years of mortgage lending experience along with a solid track record in retail banking sales.

• Deep knowledge of the local real estate market in San Diego.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC lending guidelines.
