Position: Vice President, Commercial Banking

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research & Business Development:

  • Compile and analyze market research data to develop recommendations for products and services that meet the needs of the target market.

  • Engage in business development activities to solicit new business, specifically targeting key market sectors.

• Client Engagement & Sales:

  • Call and visit target customers to promote and sell bank products and services, with the goal of establishing a new book of business.

  • Maintain a detailed customer database and track new business relationships, making reports as required to senior management.

• Loan & Credit Analysis:

  • Interview prospective applicants to gather necessary information related to loan or credit applications and resolve any questions or concerns.

  • Conduct pre-qualification assessments and analyze the financial condition of applicants in line with the bank credit culture and current market conditions.

• Loan Coordination & Management:

  • Gather all required information to present financing requests to senior management or the Loan Committee.

  • Coordinate the processing of approved loans, ensuring compliance with agreements, customer needs, and bank lending policies.

• Industry Knowledge & Community Representation:

  • Stay up-to-date with financial industry trends and recommend adjustments to bank products or services as necessary.

  • Represent the bank in community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to enhance its image and develop additional business opportunities.

What You will Need:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in banking and commercial lending.

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.

• Advanced knowledge in relationship management, banking operations, loan administration, and treasury management.

• Expertise in financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.

• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
